Do You Still Ride All The Rides

I do but my wife has cut back on some of the coasters (EE, GotG,) because of motion sickness.

We haven't been in years but want to go back. The only ride that I had problems on before was in Animal Kingdom in the Dinosaur section. The tall whirly thing. I forget the name. It isn't there anymore as far as I know. I have gone to the amusement park close to home and there are a few rides that I won't do because they jerk too much and hurts my neck.

Hoping to go the Disneyworld in the next year or so. Will try all the rides. My one concern is getting in and out of rides as my knees and hips don't co-operate sometimes. We shall see!

I ride most of the rides, except the ones where it is difficult for me to get in and out of with my bad knees. The ones that come to mind are Space Mountain and Astro Obiter. Getting in to them is OK, getting out of them is difficult. There are some rides I don't particulary like, but will do them if a group I'm with wants to do them...like Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller Coaster. If they would redo Space Mountain, an use two across seating like at Disneyland. I could do it fine.

My Mom did most of the rides every trip, on her last trip she was 86 years old, and she passed at 87 Years old.

Aw, heck no! I have menieres and havent ridden Incredicoaster for over eight years. Nor spinnythings (Teacups), things that go in a circle (Dumbo, Carousel). I spend a lot of time in FL on the dark rides. Rode SM for last time in June, too fast and disorienting for me anymore. Also, no motion simulators, very disorienting.

But i love ROTR. I do have to close my eyes in a couple of places, though. I wanted to go on the Harry Potter ride so bad at USH but my hubby came out, shaking his head, "not for you"... :rotfl2: Same with Guardians at EPCOT.

I still love my Disneyland and will continue going as long as I am able.

still riding all the rides except any long spinning rides (teacups)
love rollercoasters and any thrill ride. getting in rides not so bad but getting out like space mountain i have a bad hip takes me a bit to get out but I will ride until i cannot anymore !

At Disneyland, I no longer ride Matterhorn. :guilty:
We went to DL in October 2023 and that is the only ride that is so difficult to get out of, at either DL or WDW, for me.

I stopped BTMRR several years ago-I'd ridden it 3 times in a row on an after hours event and the third time I got feeling motion sick, so now I'm afraid to ride it. I have such a hard time getting on and off rides that have moving walkways (like Spaceship Earth and People Mover). And the last time I went on Test Track, it was so hard to get out of the car at the end, I've been nervous about those rides. But the last time I did POTC, I got out fine, so we'll see. Mostly my mobility issues have limited me to attractions where I can remain in my ECV.

I still ride all the rides I’ve always ridden - I’m terrified of heights so I’ve never done any of the coasters (except SDMT) or TOT. The big difference now as an oldster is that I don’t NEED to ride anything in particular to make my trip a ‘success’…

I haven't ridden a lot of them for years because of motion sick issues.
Tea cups and Star Tours were the worse, now add Smuggler's run.
Loved roller coasters but they upset me now.
If the grand kids have no one to ride with, I will do them still. With just DH we don't ride them
GOTG was horrible for me and so was Tron

I started getting motion sickness in my late 50s (thanks Menopause) and gave up a few rides. But then I discovered Scopolamine and have gotten most of them back! Still no teacups or 'spinny' rides, and I haven't had the courage to try any that flip me upside down. But other than that, I'm pretty good.

Had to give up the teacups way too soon due to motion sickness. Then a few years ago Space Mountain became just impossible, well actually just too embarrassing, to get out of, so that's gone too, Test Track was getting close to that point (hopefully after the refurb it will be easier), and sometimes so is RnR. Guardians is possible thanks to medication!

I ride all the ones I ever did. I don’t like thrill rides, so I didn’t ride them as a child/teen and don’t ride them now. I am more of a dark ride fan, such as HM. I have always been prone to motion sickness as well, so I have been taking Bonine (meclizine) for decades.

My sister and I ride everything, or at least we did on our last trip in 2022. Besides getting older, we're both plus size so Space Mountain, eh, it takes a little work getting out only because the rocket is so low to the exit platform.

I ride most of the rides I used to except for Space Mountain and Rock n' oll Coaster. It is too hard to get in and out of Space mountain cars even with my knee replacements. Rock n' Roll Coaster gave me a headache last time I rode it due to my head banging up against the back of the seat.

We were at EPCOT last week. The only ride we did was Remy. It just isn't important to us anymore. I think last visit we did Soarin' and Living With The Land and DH did Mission to Mars.

The only rides I won't go on is Mission Space (have been on it three times/last time/stuck inside forever so I said never again), Tower of Terror (also on it twice/don't like the drop feeling), Tea cups or any kind of spinning rides/make me very nauseas and don't want to come off with a headache.

(And my late DH did not go on all these rides - slinky, 7D and BTM as far as "coasters").

Depnds on who I am with - one of my traveling companions absolutely LOVES the roller coasters and she would go over and over if she could. When I travel with hubby, he has his favorites, but isn't really interested in doing stuff repetively. I don't get motion sick, but RnRC does give me headache after doing it more than once.

I agree about Space being hard to get out of... 7D is also a bit difficult to get into and out for me.

Truthfully, I have done all of them (other than teacups) so many times, if there is time and a short line, maybe we'll do them, but I have my absolute favorites that are more attractive now, FOP, Na'vi, Guardians, and don't fixate on rides like we used to.

Do really enjoy some of the shows though.
