Do those with 3+ day park hoppers, or those staying on site still get MM/EMH privileges during marathon weekends?

I'm not familiar with how the marathons work, or if they shut down the park/change opening hours at all etc.

They don't always offer MM/EMH on race days. They usually make the announcement earlier in the week with a sign on the esplanade, though I believe that hotel guests also get a letter in their room.

Hmm okay thanks for the info! I'm considering a split stay for a trip and was trying to figure out if we should start or end the trip onsite. I was leaning towards end, but it coincides with a marathon so we may lose out on EMH then. May be better to start it off onsite and "downgrade" at the end
