I am stealing time from my employer that they are paying me to be productive and not be chatty on the DIS.... BUT.... its Friday, and well, that means you're half productive anyways, so I guess I am only stealing half time. I also will use the copy machines and printers to do some WDW planning on and print out scrapbooking stuff.

I speed, and I have been known to fix a couple of tickets.

Looks like I am the most lawless one here beside JoNo.

too funny! I'm guilty of stealing time from work also to DIS!!!

I've taken a few bottles of shampoo, soap etc from hotels but thats all. Is that stealing as we pay for it to use it in the room? I only take what is left at the end of the holiday.

Thanks Dan - you just reminded me about the oatmeal soaps. I take the unused ones and hide them in the drawer, then I live a hefty housekeeping tip and get four or five new ones every day which I also hide. I usually come home with a big bag of oatmeal soap booty. Geez I'm outta control!!

I steal time from my boss because I'm on DIS and not working
I steal little hotel toiletries and stationery and their pens
I steal used/scrap paper from work so my kids can draw
I pay for empty/half full soda bottles from the store
I steal hotel space from those willing to pay rack rate because I can use my AP rate
I steal water from WDW because I fill up my Brita water bottle at the resort food court instead of using my refillable mug

Help.... the police are coming (ducks under the table......)

Oh yeah, I have downloaded many a Disney CD!!! I also take the pens and toiletries from hotels.

We also used to sneak food into the movies ..... as teenagers many a wine cooler as well.

I put the Mickey shampoo and lotion in my duffle each day so they will leave new ones. I usually come home with a bunch. When we're at Disney restaurants, I "forget" to return the pen after I sign the receipt. I've got a nice big collection of white Disney pens -- write with them almost every day. But the worst thing I've ever done is . . .

When I was a teen I had quite the sticky fingers. Im not proud at all and I did end up getting caught. I was definately old enough to know better. It still haunts me.

Now my life of crime is limited to disney toiletries, hotel pens, and fast food restaurant napkins that I have been known to heist by the handfull to keep in the car.

Now you all know..I'm a hardened criminal and I would not be surprised if I was not allowed to show my face, er username, around here ever again.

No I don't steal. I just take. I take the pens from work. If it's a good writing pen, it's mine. If I have a pen on my desk and someone uses it or just so happens to walk away with it, I have to replace it with another. Therefore I then go on a pen hunt!

I was thoroughly enjoying this thread and thinking that surely, surely there must be something that I "steal" and I can't think of a single thing! I've come up empty and quite frankly, it's embarrassing. Who knew I was such a scoob?

Can't do it....I'm bonded.

But....they make it easy at work - they buy the .69/dozen pens and the grungiest copy paper they can find (cheapest I mean) so why would I want to take it anyway? Can't even Dis at work and steal time as I am IT support staff and IT head randomly monitors activity.

I too have a few bars of oatmeal soap though.....but they just keep putting a ton of it in the room!! Only one day we did not get fresh stuff. They left the open bar there. I do have a Suave shampoo bottle I take with and when we check out of the motel I always pour the shampoo that is left in there. Explain why I would do something so stupid when the entire suave bottle only costs .89??????????????

Not on purpose i don't but i got home once and was unpacking my fruit and vegies from the fruit shop and i opened up one bag and thought what the hell are these?? i didn't buy those, then i looked in the bag and also saw a small bag of apples.

I had gone through the check out and picked up my bags and even smiled at the counter lady and said thank you and walked out.

Im still not sure what happened? the lady in front of me had gone and the counter was empty so maybe i got the person behind me in lines first bag of fruit.

I thought about returning it.. but couldn't be bothered driving back there and thought hey if she was dumb enough to smile at me and watch me pick the bags up and not notice the mistake then its here problem.

i had an expereince at WDW as well where i got something i hadn't paid for. I was in a gift shop and was buying up large being my first trip to WDW, i had a photo frame which they asked if i wanted in a box and i said yes so they got a box while i kept shopping for mugs and magnets and postcards.

Rung up all the items and i paid for it on my visa, wasn't till later in the day i was showing my husband and friends what i had got and looked at the receipt that i saw they hadn't charged me for the photo frame.
