I don't snore I talk sometimes. My boyfriend sometimes snores but not really that often. What wakes me up in the middle of the night are the cats in the bed purring. I don't know how long they sleep and purr for but everytime I wake up I hear the purring!

My DH SNORES... so bad when he is overtired. It's getting a little better now as he is losing weight. I had to start wearing earplugs about a year ago, now I sleep in peaceful bliss. They cut his noise down enough but I can still hear the alarm, the dog cry and things like that!

DH snores really loudly. It doesn't bother me, though, my mom always snored loudly when I was growing up so it's just background noise to me. :teeth:

When he's gone, neither dd nor I can sleep. He had to go to a conference for a week and dd (who is 15) ended up sleeping with me that week. She told me with DH gone, she could hear all the burglars. :lmao: Meaning she could hear every little noise outside without the snoring covering it all up.

We both snore.

Naturally I deny that I snore, but DH swears I do

I snore when my allergies are bothering me and apparently it is quite loud  so I am told. I also talk in my sleep and as my DH puts it I get lots of exercise while sleeping. :confused3 He snores only occasionaly.

DH snores so bad that we dont even sleep together anymore. It used to work to tell him to roll over. Not anymore! One of us would move to the other room to sleep. Then we moved and he thinks he gets the spare bed in my office to sleep, but I'm ready to take it down and start scrapbooking. Just dont have the heart to kick him out. (really afraid he will come back to bed and I wont get any sleep anymore) Suggestions?

I just revived this thread, because I was going to ask the board the same question. Slo has already made a poll any everything.
I'm curious if snoring has adversely affected couples. Surely this question is still relevant in 2022.

My DH used to snore, but now he has a CPAP and doesn't.

Before that, I would sometimes move into the spare bedroom in the middle of the night. But I saw that as just a practical solution to logistical problem, not a relationship deal-breaker or anything.

My DH also used to snore....CPAP machine saved me. He's been using it for about 20 years now.
I do snore occasionally because of clogged nose due to allergies. When I know I am I use nose spray and it helps a lot
