Do you skip the intro?

When you go on the official DVC site, do you skip the intro? Or, like me, do you listen to the schleppy song and sometimes even... get choked up?

Am I the biggest sap in the world?

I listen also. I wouldn't dare skip it....just wouldn't be right!! Keeps it all close to the heart and mind. I especially love to listen to my Mickey Whistle from The Magic. I downloaded it about two years ago to my desktop. Just crank the volume and let it blow!

Don't mean to rain on your parade, I skip it, but, there again, I skip all intos to everything after I have heard it once. I guess I am a text only type of person. I can honestly do without the graphics and pretty stuff, I want info!!!!

I have a 22 month old who goes up to the computer and points to it and says " Disney" and wants to watch the DVC intro. She loves it. They start early. Barb

I skip the intro, but that's because I'm on "dial up".

If I'm on a commando mission for info, I skip it. Otherwise, I'll listen to it. It is enjoyable.

I skip it if my 3 year old is in ear shot and I am really logging on for real info. If she is in ear shot and she hears it I will be playing it over and over and over and over again because she thinks it is the greatest thing to hear and watch. If I am by myself it really depends on my mood if I will skip it or not....I figure with DD I have heard it more then my fair share of times. Yes they do start early. My 6 year old is already planning a vaction with her and her DH and kids, my 3 year old's DH and kids and us in a grand villa....I told her that it will be 30 or more years before that happens, but she is fine with that.

I do enjoy the sappy song, but almost always skip it.

It's ironic that I was actually thinking recently of e-mailing member services to ask if there was a way to directly connect to the DVC site without having to make the choice of skipping.

The intro is on disneyvacationclub.com not dvcmember.com
And yes, I listen to it all the time (sometimes twice)!
