Of course, assumming that you're working out in the morning. My husband doesn't often work out in the mornings, but when he does he gets up, takes a shower, eats breakfast and then head to the gym. :confused3 And of course, comes home and showers for a second time. Is this normal?

yep, I sure do :rotfl: I know it sounds messed up but I can't help it :confused3 I just have to have my morning shower :goodvibes

During the week I'm at the gym at 5:30 when it opens. I'm barely concious and leave little time to get ready so food and a shower are not part of the routine. I do manage to brush my teeth and throw some cold water on my face :teeth: . Even on the weekends when it doesn't open until 8 I still don't bother with either.

There are a few guys at my gym that shower and put on their work clothes before coming at 5:30am. Then they change, workout, shower again and put back on their work clothes :confused3 . They must get up at 4  .

Now, I don't work out, but if I did I would shower before. A shower usually leaves me feeling energized and that would help me with a work out.

I just switched to mornings, I get to the gym at 4:15-4:30 am and am lucky I did not leave my PJ's on.

I have my bag all set up the night before with my clothes and whatnot and wear my workout stuff in, take a shower there and get ready and am off to work by 6:30 am.

I shower before I workout to get energized, to wash my hair and to shave. After I work out I take a quick shower at the gym and get ready for work.

I too shower before I go to the gym. I don't want to look all bed head
when all the other woman there look like they just came out of a magazine.

Nope, never. I just don't see the point in it. I think I'd feel guilty sweating all over my nice clean self, LOL.

I never do. First off, my skin is dry and it would kill me to shower 2x in one day, and second of all, what's the point? But dh used to. Mainly because his hair is so unruly that it looks awful until he showers in the morning. Although lately he hasn't really cared...just throws on a hat or just throws caution to the wind and goes without it. lol. Granted, he is 36 now...maybe that helps, too.

on days that I go during the week (5:40, much later than you, but oh so early for me) I will confess to often sleeping in the t-shirt I'll wear to the gym.

:rotfl: I do this too! I go to the gym about 6:30 am before work and most of the time I wear the T-Shirt I'm going to wear to the gym to bed! I hardly ever feel like (or have time to) taking a shower after going to the gym, let alone before it!

I'm with the majority...out the door at 4:30 am to get to the gym when it opens at 5 to get the "good" cardio machines. They get staked out so quickly in the morning, you know! Shower?!? No way!

i can barely get up for work let alone the gym. i work out after work, so i don't have this problem, LOL.

Although after reading this thread, I've got to ask myself..."What is normal?" We've got 2 here that sleep in their workout clothes, the majority probably forgets to either brush their teeth in the morning before leaving for the gym or puts their clothes on backwards. Hell, your husband seems more normal than the rest of us!! ;)
