Do you share bath towels with any family members?

Everyone gets whatever towel they pull out of the linen cupboard---but it's always a fresh clean one. Nobody in my house reuses a towel once it's been used.

I wash them in cold water, like I do everything except our bedding. I figure the dryer gets nice and hot to kill anything on them.

We only have 1 hairbrush....but I'm really the only one w/ any hair. Dh is almost bald and my son keeps his super short.

Toothbrushes....everyone has their own.

We reuse towels for at least a few days. We're clean when we use them, so as long as they get hung back up, it's all good. But we don't share them once they've been used. We each reuse our own towels.

Another disgusting DISer here. Everyone has their own towel, hung up and re-used for the week. My DD hangs hers up to dry in her bedroom since the bathroom she uses doesn't have much space for towels.

I'm also really curious. Do the people who share towels also keep only one toothbrush, one hairbrush, etc. in the bathroom?

It has happened that one of us (me) might have forgotten her toothbrush on a trip.

So we shared. It's not like we're not. . .. you know?

Nope. We each have a toothbrush. But, in a pinch I would rinse one of their brushes really, really well and use it and then rinse it really, really well and put it back for them. Dd and I do share a hairbrush, dh doesn't have much use for one.

I LIVE with these people. Its not like we are sharing with complete strangers!!
