Do you share a bed with your spouse after a BIG fight?

A friend of mine just had a terrible HUGE fight with her husband. They are not speaking! Both of them said incredibly rude and mean things to each other. I am talking about a HUGE fight!!! Though for economic and family issues they have not separated. And they are still sleeping in the same bed.

Can you share a bed with your husband/wife after having a huge fight? (If you have not made up) Or is it the guest room for you?

I have gone to the guest room when totally upset with Dh....However he says he will never leave our bed after an arguement.....If I want to go...that is my option but he wont..Very stubborn man.....However we have never had a fight that would have been a deal breaker....It sounds like there are serious issues between your friend and her husband.

Of course. 1) one of these days, DH might not be there (as in passed away) and I will kick myself for not spending every minute I could by his side and
2) as stated above - after fights, the making up STUFF is the best!

I think that the more appropriate question would be "Is it the guest room for HIM?" And while the answer is yes, trust me when I say that the extra night away just makes the making up all the more fun!

I have once, after a big fight. It was the longest, lonliest night of my life, knowing that the man I loved and I were that angry and just a room apart. I don't ever want to do that again.

We've never had make up ! I don't know why, it's just never worked that way for us.

We have a huge king-sized bed, so I could 5 people in there that I hate at the moment.

I don't think I could ever be that mad at DH, no matter what happens. Once words are said, all the in the world can't make up for it. I can honestly say, that in 20 years of marriage, we have never had a fight.....a few disagreements, but no fighting. I'm too much of a pacifist, and so is he.
