Do you scream on thrill rides?

I do the laugh/scream thing. I don't set out to do it, but I don't think I could NOT do it ... if that makes sense. Apart from anything else, it's so therapeutic to be able to scream! :goodvibes

I went to D-land with a friend about a decade ago, and I dragged her over to Space Mountain as soon as the gates opened. I didn't know it, but she was really scared of rollercoasters. She didn't say anything though, I think because she didn't want to "be a wuss." Anyway, the ride starts and I'm screaming and laughing, and pretty soon I hear her laughing and screaming. She told me afterwards that hearing me laugh and scream was so funny, that she had to do it too. She's never been scared of rollercoasters since and has, in fact, become something of a coaster connoisseur!

:scratchin I am so worried about people that do NOT scream!!! I love THRILL rides and that is why I ride them. For the THRILL!!!
That said when I ride with my 10 yr old daughter with another mother, that is SOOOOOOO into looking cool. i make sure that I scream my head off!!!!!!!
Can't wait till Sept, BUT ds (6) will be tall enough to ride some thrill rides so I may have to tone it down abit. At least for the FIRST ride!!!

From the Land of the Big Wuss:
I'm laughing & screaming, laughing & screaming--actually I'm hysterical! :scared1:
I've tried to meditate  during ToT etc but hysteria works best for moi!
Apologies if this fat lady's screaming disturbs--

I dont usually scream, but I laugh alot :)

I'm a total laugher too!! I really have no control over it, it just happens!! But others screaming doesn't bother me...IMHO that's part of the fun of a thrill ride!!

I'm normally not a very loud person but on a roller coaster or TOT or Splash Mountain I SCREAM and scream, so loud that I hurt my throat. I don't think I can help it. I definately don't scream during the not thrilling parts. I hate it when people do that, especially on TOT. But if something makes me really sick or scared like Dueling Dragons at Universal, I just keep my eyes and my mouth shut and wait for it to be over!

Sorry if I'm bumping...I didn't go to the end of the thread...
I scream on everything...even teacups...just adds fun. When I sit next to a stranger, I warn them before the ride starts.

If you hear anyone screaming "I want my mommy!", that's me!! My girls laugh at me 'cause I'll be turning 40 this year. Once, tho, I was actually riding with my mom and she was screaming, "I right here!".

Hey, that sounds like me though I simply scream MOMMY more for the effect than anything else. My 8-year-old DD thinks I am a bit goofy but I am simple who I am - the goofyguy with the loud scream. Makes the rides more fun, doesn't it? :rotfl: :bounce:

Why of course we do! I pity the single riders who take a spin on test track with us! What fun is it to just sit with your eyes shut and your mouth closed and your arms by your side? :rotfl:

Sure, DD and I scream on lots of rides--it's half the fun!

My niece and nephew rode Space Mountain with me for the first time several years back. We got off at the end and they were in hysterics! You see, I laugh hysterically and loudly  through the entire ride!!! I must have a unique laugh because one time a CM said to me "I remember you, I remember your laugh!" I was like, "Oh, I'm sorry! :confused3 And he says, "No it's okay it's a good thing!" :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
