Do you schedule rest periods for those long summer days?

Nope. I live out of state, so when we go to Disneyland, we go for the entire day. 12-13+ hours each day for a better idea. We just take it easy, though, take breaks in between, try not to go-go-go too hard or too fast. Sure, it gets a little tiring after a while, but it's worth it. It's just me and my friend, though, so it's not like we're toting around kids or anything that might hold us back.

In all the years we have been going to DLR, we have never left to go back to our hotel. When it gets warm, we head to Fiddler for ice cream and a cold drink and rest for a while. Another spot we like is the Animation Academy.

We have found we NEED to take afternoon breaks. And it's just me and DH... but we get cranky like little kids if we try to force ourselves to stay in the parks all day. I've also found it's more efficient to power through the morning to early/mid afternoon and take a break at the hotel to rest, eat, take a break from crowds, and cool down. Since maxpass this has worked out even better since we can line up our fastpasses for the evening.
