your socks, underwear, shirts and stuff like that ?

yes, I would hate for a pair of socks to feel left out cause I don't ware them :rotfl:

I had never heard of this before I met my husband.:lmao: Even when I've been a SAHM, dh puts away all his own laundry because I REFUSE to rotate his stuff.

My question is always - why would you want ALL of your underwear to wear out at the same time?

Shush, you are not supposed to give away our secrets. :lmao:

Yes I do! I even put them in another drawer until all the non-worn ones are worn...then I start all over again. I do this with everything: towels, shirts, socks, movies...:upsidedow

Of course ... but then, you probably already knew that by looking at my tag. :lmao:

Yes, but not in an OCD kind of way. I tend to be so disorganized that I don't manage to get the clean laundry in the basement put away until the morning I open my underwear drawer and it is empty. :lmao: Then I know I have to put stuff away, so it all has been used and rotated.

I've never felt the need to rotate my clothing.

When I first read this, I thought by rotating you meant you wear your underwear on your feet, and your socks on your bum. I'm still not sure I get the concept.

This is a complete foreign concept to me....I don't even wash the stuff until the drawer is empty so.....:confused3

(it's true!)

Another methodical rotator here, too! :thumbsup2 Linens, underwear, socks, everything gets rotated (clean stuff on the bottom).

For the poster who asked, it's not a matter of everything wearing out at the same time. It's a matter of even wear. If something gets a hole in it or becomes ragged, it gets demoted to the rag bag. Eventually once X many towels, socks, whatever get demoted, I buy another package of underwear or X many items.

This way my colors are always changing (but staying in the same spectrum) and all my stuff stays nice.

Not my clothing because by the time I do laundry I've been through most of them. However, I do rotate dishes, put the clean ones on the bottom of the stack, etc.

I also follow the FIFO rules:rotfl:, Every undie gets a turn:rolleyes1

I turn stuff inside out and wear it again...does that count:confused3

When my dad was a kid, he went to summer camp for 2 weeks. My grandma sent him with 13 pairs of clean underwear....he came home with 13 pairs of clean underwear. He wore one pair for two weeks  Apparently every day he turned that pair inside out and he went swimming in them, which apparently meant they were still clean :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

The only thing I really rotate in my wardrobe are my suits. I wear a suit two or three times a week and this helps me keep from guessing if I wore it recently or not.
