Do you ride the WDWRR just for fun or is it efficient transportation?

We ride it for fun and as transportation. Like if we are at Frontierland and done for the day at MK we'll ride it to the front. But, we actually never rode it our last trip in January sadly as it is a relaxing ride to me.

It's a bit of both for us. I enjoy the ride, but I also build it into my touring plan so that it efficiently gets me from one area of the park to another. Although the efficiency isn't guaranteed and really depends on how long you wait, but the rest on the feet still makes it worthwhile for me.

I think you can pretty reliably beat the train on foot nearly every time. We ride the train for fun, and for the fact that it is an authentic steam train. There aren't that many places left where you can ride a real steam train, so that in and of it's self is a special treat.

We only ride it for fun. It's way too crowded at the stops other than the one at the front of the park, so we get on at the first stop and just ride it all the way around. Very nice ride!

It can be both! Last trip we rode the RR to get back to the front of the park, rather than walking the whole way there.

How do you use the train?

Pretty much just for fun. Occasionally we will go to the MK just to wander around a bit. On those days we may find that by the time we've gotten to the "back" of the park we are pretty much done and will take the train around to the Main St station to leave.

We love to use it to go to the front of the park to save on feet even though it doesn't necessarily save time.
