I was sharing some of my favorite memories of Christmas as a child with my 15 year old yesterday. One of them was receiving little tea sets in my stocking. These were in a plastic bag about 3x3 and the largest piece was the coffee pot that was about 2 inches high. I remember they were typically pink but sometimes gold or silver.

This was in the 60's  and again they were plastic and very small.

I would spend hours Christmas morning playing with these until my Grand Parents arrived and we could open the big gifts.

My daughter said she would like to have one of these (go figure, she is 15!!).

I've searched and searched and found nothing like them.

There are also other special memories I have that she wants this year. An orange, apple, nuts and ribbon candy. I can handle those ;)

Does anyone remember anything like this?

Oh, I do remember them. They used to sell them and in china at the toy store in the center of town where my cousins lived. The china ones were so beautiful. I always wanted one but never got it  You can find them on e-bay by searching vintage doll tea set.

I have a mini china tea set, and each one has a little rose bud on it. It now sits in my china cabinet.

No, not one of those. The coffee pot was a tall one. It was pretty cheap plastic and couldn't have cost her more than $1 so they probably didn't survive the years lol.

Thanks for looking!! :)
