We will be staying at the Poly and would like to eat our last dinner either at Kona or Ohana's? Which do you suggest? The trip includes me, DH and DD(will be 5).

Thanks guys!

I have never been to Kona- but Ohana is a great place for dinner! We have been there for our last three trips. It was the favorite place for my grand gathering trip last September. Everyone LOVED it! My DD7 (four the first time she went) loves the activities for kids. The food comes so quickly there is no time for kids to get fussy! Have a great trip

With a five year old, I'd choose Ohana. We've been there several times and enjoyed it each time. It's a fun family atmosphere with activities like coconut rolling for the kids. Kona has great food, but not much atmosphere at all.

I agree with others, Ohana is great but so is Kona Cafe.

I would make my last dinner at Ohana but during the week I would definately eat breakfast at Kona Cafe. We love it there, quick in and out when there is a table available for walk-ups. We have always been lucky with that.

I love 'em both. Ohana has a great atmosphere and good food. Kona is more subdued, but has really good food. Both have great drinks! You can't go wrong with either, IMO. :thumbsup2

It all depends if you want a buffet O'hana or sit down which would be Kona . My vote goes to Kona.

We have been to both and prefer Ohana but like the wings at Kona much better

I prefer Kona.

Depending on when you are going, you may not be able to get an ADR for 'Ohana. They book up fairly fast.

Just recently dined at both. Ohana can be a hit or miss experience more so than Kona. I've never had a bad meal at Kona. The food has always been delicious. I prefer the Ohana atmosphere though. :upsidedow

O'hana would be my pick. We've always had a good time. It has been referred to as buffet, but when we were there for breakfast they brought everything to the table family style, which I thought was nice. Also, in contrast to Kona there is a nice view of MK if you get a window seat.

Happy Planning.

Not sure if this matters to you, but the three times we have dined at the Poly, the line to check in at 'Ohana was miles long and the restaurant pretty noisy. Kona is much quieter. The food is great at both.
