Do You Recommend Hollywood & Vine?

I HATED H&V. It was by far the worst meal we had while at Disney. We had breakfast with Pooh and friends at CP and it was great. CMs was my favorite of all time

H&V was just bad. The chicken fingers we not even good. the steak was rare and nasty. the staff was rude. I've heard Mama Melrose is good.

Everyone in my family enjoyed our dinner here two weeks ago, it is one of my faves!

We really enjoyed H&V in October. There was a wide variety of good food. The atmosphere is more sparse/simple, and of course there are no characters, but the food was very good and we liked this restaurant for the Fantasmic package.

Having said that, we also really like the CP dinner. The food was great, and the atmosphere was very nice. It's pretty inside, and the characters were fun and not rushed. It was one of our favorite meals.

Now, no flames, but I thought CMs (dinner) was awful. The food was standard fare at best, and not too good tasting at all. The atmosphere was not to our liking--it was a zoo. Character interaction was poor and the crowds were worse than the parks lol! We were all stressed when we left.

I think it's interesting how everyone has such different views of the same places...I'd try H&V and see what you think! :D

We were just there on 12/16. We liked it, but DS2 was disappointed that no characters were there. The food was tasty and hot. We got the Fantasmic Dinner Package, but didn't use the tickets. We went very early to the show to get seats. We did much better (at the suggestions of the CMs in the dinner pkg. seating area) going to the Mickey section to sit. The seating for dinner package was on the far right. We'd go back there to eat though.

We liked Hollywood and Vine a lot! We went there for the first time during Thanksgiving week this year. Our waitress was great (an older lady whose name I can't remember). The food was good and the deserts were excellent. We will go back next time we visit!

We were there last saturday. The food is not that great. There were 12 of us 8 Adults and 4 kids.... nobody liked the food. Actually my father-in-law got sick a few hours after the meal and spent all of Sunday at the hotel.

We found certain items we really liked a lot and then just piled our plates with those items. I personally loved the beef -- it tasted like prime rib or sirloin and was very moist and tender. I also enjoyed the seasoned green beans. For me, those 2 items made a nice meal, plus a little taste of other items and some dessert.

Just like most buffets there is great variety. Salads, potatoes, veggies, pasta, seafood, meats, as well as the kids nuggets and mac-n-cheese. Lots of different small desserts to try too. I would be surprised that you could not find something that you like unless you are SUPER picky.

We always do it every trip, did it this easter. Food was good as usual and our 3 ds all found something they enjoyed. Lots of drink refills and a great castmember, Jason. Too bad we couldnt get the FDP for it. I tried for weeks. The seats for the show are ok, especially if you dont feel like waiting in line.
