Do you receive a final invoice?

We paid off our booking 3 weeks ago (made with Disney direct) and have had no further communication from Disney. Is this normal???
The amount paid transferred 2 weeks ago and we wondered if there was supposed to be a statement or something sent fron Disney to say they received it . After all you are the people who know this sort of thing so come on and clue us in.
PS only 5 weeks to go we are all very keen to get there

We usually pay a deposit and then they take the balance a few weeks before we go but I don't ever remember receiving anything in writing. I think that's normal so don't worry - just count down to your holiday and enjoy!!!

Strangely enough I've just had to call the UK number for DLP about our upcoming visit (had given them an expired credit card number )and they said I'd be getting a confirmation in 7 - 10 days. Can't remember that happening before but I may just have forgotten.

Right, thanks Diberry, I'm going to 'phone them on monday morning and find out what has happened. Still not had anything in writing from them, I'd rather make enquiries than sit here worrying about it! Many thanks from wifey

Diberry I just rang Disney (11.30 am) took an age to get to speak to a guest relations cm but they did confirm that they have taken our payment.Strange though that they had no record on their computer system of a confirmation of our final payment being sent to us so they have said that they will issue one for us and post it out so we should receive it within the next few days - however long that maybe who knows Just glad it's all cleared up and we can relax and not worry about it anymore Now we can count down the days until we arrive and have a magical time ( with lots of help from the Disers hints and tips) Many thanks from Wifey and family
