Do you read Romance Books? I need suggestions????

Live close to Indiana? I'm having a garage sale in the next few weeks and have tons of books. ;)
Some of my favorites (some are mystery/romance) Lisa Gardner, Stella Cameron, Sharon Sala, Jayne Ann Krentz, Maggie Shayne, Andrea Kane, Tami Hoag, Penny Jordan and Sandra Brown.

I usually don't read romance, but there is one author I do like. (Other than Nora Roberts.) Katie MacAlister. She has one series; I haven't read that yet, but her other books are a riot. Many take place in England and Scotland. The Corset Diaries is one of her most recent and it's about a woman taking part in one of those reality shows like Pioneer House, only it's Victorian times. So funny! The two vampire books are great - A Girl's Guide to Vampires (takes place in the Czech Republic) and Sex and the Single Vampire (takes place in England).

Anyway, if you like funny romance, check her out. :)

How about Fern Michaels, Barbara Delinsky, Joann Ross? I love Nora Roberts the best, but these ladies are very good too! Good luck searching!!

How about Linda Howard or Karen Robards? They are 2 new authors that I have recently found and love.

Diana Gabaldon - the Outlander series - time travel series set in Scotland for the first few books. Seriously heavy books, though, as far as actual weight. Hard on the wrists.
Janet Evanovich - not set in Europe, but they are pretty funny and have romance. The Stephanie Plum series starts with One for the Money, etc.

I just finished reading ''Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas'' by James Patterson (not a series)...great book...break out the Kleenex for this one though....my next read will be ''The Notebook''

Julie Garwood she does a lot in Scotland with the burly
Scotts in their kilts.
Check out www.romancereader.com It is a great site with lots and lots of reviews and you can look up the exact genre you would like to read.

I recently discovered Julie Beard. I don't think she has many out there yet, but the few I've read were wonderful!! Dara Joy is fun too. Dara's however are... uh... how shall I say this... "Filled with romance"... yes, that's it! Rich in the romance department. :p

Ok, can you all tell me if the Authors you are suggesting are contemporary or set back in the 1800's?

I like the Contemporary ones better, but I know others prefer the ones that are set back in time.

The two I mentioned both seem to set their stories in a historical setting. :)

JD Robb is set in the future (2058-59)

Read all of JD Robbs series...second that series.

Sandra Brown is excellent along with Susan Elizabeth Phillips.

KIM!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've missed you!!!!!!! Lots of love huh??? I like lots of love...rotflol!!!

Bella thank you for the websight, it will be very helpful!

Thank you all so so much!! I'm going to bump this a few more times and then save it!! I love reading!!! I think people who don't read miss out on so much!!!!

Jane Feather is one I just discovered-one series takes place in England in the beginning of the 20th century. There is also Katherine Stone, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, and old Sandra Brown novels (these are mostly contemporary authors.)

Lorraine Heath's "Hard Lovin Man" is excellent, although contemporary. I also discovered a great author, Kathryn Shay, she writes comtemporary but very, very good. She has just started a series that is about a family of firefighters. Go to Barnes & Noble website and do a search, that is how I find books I want to invest in and also read others reviews. If you like them "hot" and romantic, I've just read a few, PM me if you'd like to get the names of the books.

never read one but I stared in a few
