Do you put on both socks then both shoes, or do you do sock,shoe; sock, shoe?

Just wondering!! I prefer to put on both socks first, then both shoes, it's just more balanced that way! If the phone or doorbell rings I'm not running around lopsided!

Yeah well, just in a silly mood I guess! I was putting on my socks and shoes and remembered about a conversation my dad and I had when I was a kid, so I thought I'd ask my DIS friends their preference, just for fun! I know, I'm strange!

I tried shoe, sock, shoe, sock once, but my wife got really mad at me. She insisted that I do it right. So now I do it shoe, shoe, sock, sock. She was right, it definatetly works better.

Wow! I can't believe I'm the only sock, shoe, sock, shoe here. I like to think its a matter of efficiency. If I have one foot raised to put on sock, I may as well add the shoe right away instead of putting that foot down, raising other foot to apply sock, setting that foot down and starting over to put on shoes. It really is an exhausting procedure.

lol, in south florida i rarely have the need for socks, even yesterday it was a bit chilly so i put on my fleece lined UGG clogs.. plenty warm for me!

dh and the kids do socks first then shoes
