I want to be cremated, and later have my husband, or someone else, scatter my ashes in an English meadow.

I want to be cremated, and my ashes spread at a specific location...

I had a relative who kept her husband's on her TV..I will never ever forget that, I found it creepy as a child.

Cremation.. My DH was cremated and I saved two small containers of his remains.. When I die, my DD will have me cremated, have the larger portion of my remains buried on top of my DH, and also save two containers.. One of the two containers will be mixed with one of my DH's and scattered here at the lake and a bit at Nubble Light in Maine.. The other remaining containers will be mixed together and she will have Lifegems make them into a blue diamond - which she will have set in a ring and wear on her right hand.. Eventually that ring will be passed down to my granddaughter and hopefully will continue to be passed down through her family..

The scattered ashes thing always kind of creeped me out a little. We could be inhaling dead people, what with the wind and all.

I think I want to be buried. Maybe cremated and buried.

I said cremation and scatter my ashes, which is the most appealing to me personally, but really the answer is, whatever's the easiest, cheapest, and least upsetting to whichever of my loved ones this task falls to. I don't think I'm going to care one way or the other by then!

Cremated then buried. It's much cheaper than traditional burial plus with both of us being cremated, we can purchase just one plot at the cemetary.
