Do you Post to "Subscribe" to a Thread?

Well, you don't have to :)

Everyone is interested in getting a good deal and some of the code threads get incredibly long. All the posts in there to subscribe to it only make them longer without adding any new information.

If you want to have the thread pop up in your User Control Panel (user CP) and be subscribed to it, with our without emails, there is a tool you can use to do so without posting anything.

At the top of each thread there are several options in blue boxes. One of them is "Thread Tools." Click on that and at the bottom of the list is the option to "Subscribe to this thread." You can then select email notification in addition to having it pop up in your User CP when someone posts new information. This option will only pop up if you haven't posted to the thread.

I think it will go a long way to keeping the code threads more manageable/readable.

Judging from the subscribings I've seen in some of those code watch threads, a lot of people don't know :)
