So far, not one "self-confessed" cusser!

I've actually gotten several supportive PMs when somone has been personally disparaging in a response to one of my posts telling me they thought the other poster was out of line. This has happenned on several occasions.

I haven't seen the person who cussed me out in a PM respond to this poll yet. Wonder if this person will be able to fess up to what he did.

I use PM quite often to discuss various matters with others with conversation that does not belong in a certain thread. Your poll does not cover "just because I need to or otherwise".

PM-ing is a great way to elaborate on points that might be a bit lengthy for the thread that spawned the original topic. I've received some excellent insights from posters who decided to PM me to continue a train of thought rather than burden the entire on-line community with a post-reply-post-reply conversation between 2 posters.

Just used it recently about renting points in response to someone who was looking for them. It seems the easier thing to do instead of going back and forth in the thread where the request originally came from.

Okie dokie-I gotcha. I remember someone set up that poll-the one after the infamous CM said how the CMs hated all the DVC members and on that poll you could actually click on it and see how each person voted. That is what I thought you meant.

Yes, strangly enough there are some people missing from this thread.
Perhaps a guilty conscience?
