Do You Play Volleyball??

I go balistic when someone says volleyball is easy! Its not. You work your butt off and it is soooooo intense. But the people I've heard say that are couch potatoes!

I got into an arguement with one of our basketball players about how he thought volleyball was easy. I saw him at one of my games and during warm up I told him to dive on the floor to get the ball, and he said no way, which proved my point. So next time someone says that just ask them if the would throw themselves on the floor to save a ball so that your butt is saved from your coach.

volleyball came naturally to me, i tried out freshman year for fun, and i ended up playing both JV and Varsity that year, then varsity ever since

nah i don't eve think volleyball is an option with the school i'm sure they're outside clubs i'm just not that interested

I do. For 2 leagues. I want to try out for club this year but I most likely won't make it. I luff volleyball.

I played Vball 6-9th grade and I played alot of club ball too. But once highschool season was over freshmen year I got involved in drama, and the people there are nicer, the vball girls at my school are all brats. and idk the coachs were good coaches but not nice people so I jsut kinda stoped. I LOVE the sport.but hated the drama involved within the team. I was an outside hitter too in case anyone wanted to know lol.

As for the whole being able to be on varsity and not serve thing.....My guess would be the player is an amazing setter/hitter/DS (I think thats what its called? someone correct me...) , but serving is not there strong suit, its not htat they can't its just they aren't good enough to risk it in a game. My freshmen year there were two freshmen on varsity they were amazing setters, but thats all they did, they would go in set and then be subbed out. Serving is almost kind of like its own position in a way. Or thats how it seemed to be at my HS.

we played 15 games , (110 blocks-84 kills-120 service points)

I did too. We did better last week. We won 2 games, lost 4. Last week we were undefeated and played 6 games.

I've been playing volleyball since I was in the 7th grade and I LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!! I'm starting varsity for my senior year and I really hope to play all season this year ( broken thumb 2 games in Sophomore year and a pulled ligament and broken finger Junior year). I play setter position does anyone else?

I never really played except for on the beach and everytime I play my wrist hurts like you know what and gets all red and swollen from bumping the ball in the air.
