Do you plan which day to go to Boma dinner?

I looked at a rotation menu that someone was kind enough to post....the day that we are going looks ok but there are other days that look better. Would you change your date at Boma to another one based on this schedule or would you go to Boma on the day that fits into your schedule better?

Are these rotation menus true to form or do they change?

You are really racking your brain over your dining choices, aren't ya?! :rotfl2:

When we go to WDW in December, I just chose to eat at Boma the night we arrive (which is a Friday). I didn't pick Friday because of the menu, just planned it for the arrival night. I don't think my family knows about the rotation like I do, but I think we will all enjoy it.

This will be the first dinner for us at Boma. I love, love, LOVE breakfast there, so I'm sure dinner will be spectacular!

I say just try it, no matter what the day! Enjoy, and don't forget to take lots and lots of pictures!

You have no idea :rotfl:

I have 3 trips planned and all the ressies for the first 2 are done but I am still messing with them and then the Jan trip is more for our nieces but I have to get these taken care of too! Oy the things I had to do :lmao:

I did the same thing you did, picked Boma for our arrival night (Sat) and DH has no idea about menu rotation (and I wish I didnt either ;) )

I think the menu rotation is a bit old, so some stuff is still there and some not. I wouldn't plan my ADRs around it.

I would but only because I have been there before and know what is best. If I hadn't tried it before I would just go whichever day was convenient for me. It's not like any of the menus are bad - some are just better than others.

I knew there was a rotation, but I hadn't seen it in a long time, and I didn't plan around it. Boma fits our plans best on Thanksgiving Day, and, well, that has to be Thursday!

I did look, and there is NOT any butternut squash soup or the pumpkin one on there, and now I'm a little disappointed, we all love those.

I did this trip because there is only one menu I haven't tried yet, and I wanted to.

Friday is a good menu. :thumbsup2 All my favorite soups, (that I've tried so far,) have always been served that night.

Can someone please tell me where to find the menus for each day? I only see the "general" menu.

TIA!!

That menu rotation is from 2003 or 2004. We have been to Boma several times over the past couple of years and they do not follow that list. Book for a night that is convenient, not a night where you are depending on certain menu offerings.

Ok DH just may be smarter at this Dis stuff than me now, but dont tell him. He said to me "Nic we are staying concerige at the AKL, see if they will email you a menu for the week"

So thats what I am going to do, will let you know what they say

They actually add special items for Thanksgiving so you may be lucky.

Never look at the rotation menu, just love to eat at Boma's.

We always book Boma for our last night at the World. It has become a family tradition for our trips. I don't know what the rotation is, and probably wouldn't change the reservation anyway.

I thought the Rotation I posted was from March of *this* year, my bad I guess.

To make up for it, my husband and I will vow to eat at Boma every night for a week and post a new Rotation menu :rotfl2:

Heck with the weight gain:thumbsup2
