Do you picture what a certain dISer looks like

I had to leave a little early so I'm only in the group shot, laughing with my head kinda thrown back because someone said something funny right before the pic was snapped.

I think of Maggie to look like Ali McGraw.

Rajah, even though I have seen pictures of her, I always think of her to look like Jasmine from Aladdin. I guess the name Rajah makes me think of Jasmine.

I thought my friends and ex board host mods on the IB Michelle and Nikole were Asian and African American. Both are caucasion. That mental image was not on target.

I'm usually wrong, ocassionally right. I pictured Buckalew to look very much like she looks, but with the exception of her and a few others, I'm usually surprised.

My biggest blunder with a DISer was a person who is no longer here. I just thought the person was tiny, pictured her to be pixie like, like tinkerbell.....well I could not have been farther from the truth. Person was just like she was on the boards, but I had her all wrong....lol

ROTFLOL!!! CR - before I saw your picture, I didn't really have an image of you in my mind, but I had a picture of a woman at a computer, with Simba climbing all over her.

That's so funny Shannon! My cousin and I are always told that we look alike. She is ten years younger than I. Our family says, "Oh you look like Maggie when she was your age blah, blah, blah..." I always thought she looked like Kristy McNichol! LOL!! I never thought I did, and I really don't. It just must be that picture.

LOL snoopy! That's because I said people told me that. We look nothing alike except we both have big eyebrows and a pudgy nose.

My picture is up on the "Show your face" thread. I was hoping to get some pictures of me with the second graders I'm working with this semester, but it's not working out. The next picture I post will probably be of Will and I on our trip next June.

I'm only 5' 11.5" tall!!!
I usually do not make myself a picture of people in my mind until at least I see a pic of them but sometimes even after seeing them in pics, seeing them in real life is way far off what I would imagine!

I love how people react... it's really funny!

I remember meeting one DISer who was EXACTLY as I pictured. That was Beverly Lynn, our resident airways expert. WOW! I didn't think it was possible to write and look exactly alike!

Most people are no surprise to me at all, like the Dan Murphys and WebmasterAlex's of the world, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised by snoopy, Buckalew, WebmasterMichelle and CathyCanada and LisaTX. They are literally WAY more beautiful than they profess to be! But there is something lovely about humility, isn't there?

I remember picturing ead79 as her signature "Cinderella" but she is a deadringer for Snow White!! And Kermit? I pictured her as a green frog and she was a princess!

It's so funny how WRONG you can be....

and Marie IS a flat warthog, now isn't she????

I haven;t met anyone yet and I have to work 1-5 on the 16th so I don't think I will be going. I live south of Boston so hoping maybe some Sunday to meet some of the Disers. I have Sundays off for now, the college kid is thinking about going back home and not staying at the dorm, ARGH, I hope she stays I at least get Sundays off in the winter. I have an old picture of me but I don't know how to put it on, I was 40, I am now and old hag at 45 but if someone tells me how to get it on I will.
