Do you pay more to hop?

We have UK ultimate 14 day park tickets and park hopping is included.

But yes, I would pay extra for the option if it wasn't free!

We're hoppers here! We love being able to leave and go somewhere else. Last Oct. we went to MK on a "best" day. Well it was the worst - it was so crowded and miserable. We used our super powers (well, hoppers) and morphed over to Epcot using the monorail and had a great time. Hopping was a lot easier before we had a child but she loves the monorail and the bus so it isn't too hard.

For less than $50 you can give yourself so much flexibility. I really enjoy the ability to hop as I want to, stop by a park for just a short time if I want, etc.

I'm with Dan! I love the flexibility of the hopper!

DON'T HOP!!!! We have hopped to 4 parks before but one trip, due to an injury, we just stayed in 1 park daily and here's what we discovered: 1.You waste a lot of time and sometimes annoyance with multiple transportations.

2.You have to walk a long way to and from transportation depleting your energy.

3. You have to wait in line to enter and be searched over again.

4. If you stay in 1 park you end up enjoying the ambiance, hidden shops, snack places and less popular attractions which really add to your enjoyment.

5. If we go to ee then we choose less crowded things to do or we shop or we sit and eat ice cream and slowly meander places enjoying people watching until things clear out and they usually do.

We always want the option to hop. This year, we're attending MNSSHP and we'll be at another park during the day. Have fun.

We are hoppers too!! We like being able to go to more than 1 park a day! :cool1:

Personally, I never hop from park to park, and never visit a park scheduled to have extra magic hours. But, that's just my personal opinion. To each his own I say.

Enjoy.

I want to add a couple of things:

1. You can add park-hopping later. If you are undecided, you should probably buy the base ticket, then add park hopping if you decide you need it.

2. I like park hopping - there are definitely days when you want to be in a certain park in the evening, but not in the morning. But,it is cheaper to buy more park days then it is to buy hopping. I am staying for 7 days, and rather than spend 4 or 5 full days in the parks, we decided to spend 7 partial days. The 7-day base ticket is the same price as the 4-day base ticket.

3. Consider hopping to non-Disney parks. My kids really want to go to SeaWorld. For under $50 you can buy a 7-day pass to Sea World. We plan to hop to and from SeaWorld, instead of another Disney park. You can consider doing the same thing with Universal.

True, but Universal is more expensive. They run specials at different times of year - best are the internet deals. Currently they're offering a 5 day pass good for both parks (you can hop) for $100. I've seen that as low as $75, but not less. You can buy a 5 day pass good at only one park (internet special again) for $63.

As far as Disney goes, we always hop, but as others have said - to each his/her own! I think it's good Disney offers both options now.
