Do you own any Temptations pieces from QVC?

I went to a Pampered Chef party last night and the hostess made a chili dip using a piece of her Temptations collection. It was a 13x9 pan with a lid that also can be used as a sheet pan as well. I thought it was pretty cool.

I have seen many other pieces on QVC and now I'm thinking of getting a few pieces.

If you have any, what are the pros and cons? Which color/pattern do you have? What is your favorite piece?

I own about 8 or 9 pieces - most are the original green patterned ones, but I have a few matching solid green pieces as well.

My favorite piece is the oval divided casserole dish - I'd estimate that it is about 12X8, but is divided so you can serve 2 side dishes in one plate. As with most of the bigger pieces, it came with the matching trivet and wire carrier.

I have no complaints - they are nice and sturdy, wash well, and are so pretty that I display them in my breakfront.

One word of warning - the "lids" that come with them are simply meant to be used to keep things from getting cold before you serve them. They are not meant for refrigerator storage as they don't have an exact tight fit.

I use my Temptations all the time and look forward to adding to my collection. I say "go for it" - you won't be sorry

Got my first 2 pieces from the QVC outlet store. Plan on using them Thanksgiving. I'll post my findings then.

I have a ton of Temp-tations stuff and I love love love it!! It cooks everything so evenly, holds the heat, and cleans up with such little effort. I love the 16 piece set the best, has so many awesome pieces. The baskets are great and really dress up the table so nicely. They do have new lids now - ones that snap on as opposed to the ones that just rest on the top.

A side note to the PP about the lids - you can now go to Tara's site and get the newer lids for your set for free. Just pay shipping!

There is a Temp-tations group on FB, there are hundreds of pics of the different pieces, collections, etc. that really show how versatile the dishes are. I say go for it - you won't be sorry!!

I have at least 10 pieces and I LOVE it! I have the ones with the matching wire baskets and the lids that snap tight. They bake/cook very evenly and practically clean themselves. Even baked on stuff comes right off. I wish I had unlimited storage because I would buy more.

I am resisting because of the made in china part of it. All the hand painting makes me a bit nervous with food items. But they are cute and I did break down and buy the snowman mugs because they were too cute. And they are nice.

Anybody had a problem with the bottom scratching their table or countertop? I know they have trivets, but if the trivet is not always right there when you need it, it seems the bottom edges are very rough and could scratch a surface. I had my husband sand mine down smoother. Seems the trivet is a must to use it.
