Do you own an ATV?

DH and I were talking today about ATV's and I think I have him convinced to buy one if/when we buy a new house. I don't know much about them just that I want one. I'm looking for some input on which ones are good, which are not... you know, the good bad and ugly.

Suggestions?

We have ATV's.

I have always ridden Polaris ATV's but there are quite a few very good mfg of ATV's out there. Honda is usually near the top of the list but there is lots of competition (which helps on price).

I have ridden Polaris ATV's since I was in the military. My current bike is a Sportsman 800 Touring......big bike (and little guy rides in a car seat behind me).....very plush ride. DW has a Sportsman 500 & we also have an Outlaw 50 for our oldest son. We love to hit the deer lease in the offseason and ride as often as we can as a family.

Dirt Wheels is a pretty good magazine.

Take your time and hit a few message boards to get an idea of what kind of ATV you want.
