Do you own a Maclaren Techno.......

If so do you have any pics of what it looks like when the canopy is in full use. Does it provide enough shade for in disney. I currently have planned to bring my full size (graco chauffer) stroller. My medium size was okay but my fs is breathable and provides alot more shade for my dd3 not to mention I can turn the seat around to face me. This feature really comes in handy w/ dd since she has very sensitive hearing so I can turn her around while she sleeps plus it allows for even more shade. I am interested in purchasing the mac techno xlr since it holds 65lbs. I will get everyday use out of the stroller as well so I wanted to find out should l look into for my next trip.

I have a 2004 Mac Techno for my DS (will be 3 in June) and we absolutely love it. For Disney the shade is decent but it could be better, the 2007 Techno has a MUCH better shade IMO, it can unzip in the back so that the shade can basically fold all the way down, it looked like it would cover DS completely if I wanted it to. I have pics of mine but I'm not sure how to post them and it's different from the 2007 techno model.

I have the Techno XT... We got them both in the end of 2005... they have the regular canopy and then an extension that folds under for xtra sun protection if need be... Its been plenty for DD... we can't say enough about our MACLARENS!! I never use my full size stroller anymore!!

DH hates this stroller b/c it is so big. I also have a duoglider that we don't use anymore and they are the same size. The canopy is about like to peg perego's that is one of the reasons I like it as well as the foot rest that you can raise up so that dd's legs aren't hanging from the knees down which is why I don't like the light weight for her. I do some what expect this w/ the mac but that is the price I have to pay for convience and weight limits.
