I think sometimes in posts, I go crazy with the smilies, so I'm making an effort to control my addiction to smilies.

I used to use them all the time. Then during WPASADI, I got out of it. On the private board for my team, it was a pain to add the few smilies there were, so I really stopped then.

It's funny b/c in text messages to friends and on AIM, I'll go to add a smilie which would be PERFECT for that situation...but only those stupid AIM ones are available.

I use the quick reply mainly so I tend not to use many smilies unless they are a standard one I can type out. Sometimes if I know I want to use a certain smilie I will do a regular post reply.

Besides, I don't need smilies to be cool.
