Do you or don't you?

ever think you should just go take a nap?

if my lids close during the day....it is because of illness.......or lack of

caffeine
I need that to get my body up and going

I have been so sleepy since about 5pm, but know I can't take a nap that late or I will not be able to sleep tonight. I wishe it were about 1pm so I could take a nap. LOL

I often enjoy an afternoon nap on the weekends, especially in fall or winter. I do agree that 5 pm is a little late. I'm a morning person and usually up by 7 am so nap time usually falls about 1-2 pm.

I don't take naps...I just rest my eyes!! LOL!:p

It's funny, I wish that I didn't HAVE to take a nap in the afternoon. Due to health problems I have to nap between 1 to 3. If I know I have to go out in the afternoon I will try to go a little earlier at 12 and be up for 2. If I don't have a nap I end up for one with a migraine but I really am not able to function. It is really a pain in the butt. Even when I was working I managed to arrange my work hours so that I would have 2 hours off in the afternoon and then come back and stay later. It is bad at home but really is frustrating when you are on vacation and have to take a break in the middle of everything.

Wouldn't a nap this late be considered actual beddy bye sleeping?

Naps are good.:smooth:

I take one almost every day during the week, how bad is that. I'm a night owl and stay up until 1:00am then up at 6:00am to get DD off to school, so me and DS usually nap in the afternoon.

never, I couldnt handle the thought of waking up twice in one day

Today I wanted to take a nap so bad. But if I do, I just can't sleep at night.

I stay up late at night and sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and don't get back to sleep for a couple of hours, so I really enjoy those times when I take my book, sit on the couch and read and then doze off for an hour. This probably happens a couple of times a week.

Naps are the best thing God ever created. When I wasn't working I took one every day. It's a Sunday afternoon ritual too. Come home from church, have lunch, take a nap. :o

Never turn down the opportunity to take a nap, it's just not right. princess:

I, too, am a napper. Although since doing Atkins I find that I don't nap all the time, just when I am really tired. However, if I am off plan on a given day, I am always ready for a nap. Must be all the carbs doing me in...

Of course, on Sundays... I almost always take a nap after church... it is a day of rest after all! :o

Hate to admit it, but napping is one of my favorite things - truly the only thing I missed when my dds came along. I get up at 5 and usually get to be 12:00, 1:00 a.m., so by 3- 4 pm, I need a quick power nap - 20-30 minutes and I am good to go!!

Yeah, often, but I know I'd feel way worse when I eventually woke up if I did weaken:yo-yo:

My best friend and I often say that naps are a gift from above and one should never turn down a gift like that!! But, we also think a TRUE nap is at least 2 hours long. LOL

I nap probably 5 days out of a week. Usually only an hour and it revives me and keeps me going til I drop late that night:faint:

I love a nap in the afternoon, Sunday is usually nap day, come home after church and take a nice long snooze.............

Once in awhile I take a nap but I have to be pretty tired to do so and then it's only for a few minutes.

My Dad has taken a nap every day for the last 30 years! Used to drive my mother nuts!:p :bounce:

I've been taking a nap almost every day after school...I get up at 5:35 and don't get home until at least 4 or 4:30, and then I have several hours of homework, plus whatever else I have going on in the evening...kind of a long day! So lately when I come home from school, I'll sleep for a few hours, then do my homework, and go to bed around midnight. I'm a night person, so I think I actually do my homework better at 11 than I would right after school.
