Out of Bounds

Finally figured this out last night after downloading some plug ins to my lowly Elements 2 and many frustrating attemps. I am here to tell you it is possible with Elements 2.

As you can see I have a terrible time painting with the mouse but zooming in does help....it's the patience and shaky hand that cause me problems. Here are my first three attemps in the order I completed them.

I did try, but this is where I ran into problem with the mask layer in Elements. I was following specific instructions, but couldn't get past the part where you had to do something with the mask layer. It was a while ago so I don't recall exactly what, however due to a recent thread and an experiment/research by another Dis'er I will look into it again. I have a few pics that I think it would work well with.

Great job on yours BTW.

Thanks Kyle, I sent you a PM. Be careful..once you figure it out..it's addicting.

WOW! That is really neat!

That's it- I'm going to my mom's house tonight and swiping her unused copy of Elements! :thumbsup2

Those look really great! Any links for instructions on how to do this?

Cheers

nice thick manual and a cd that unlocks even more ability of the elements programs.

I highly reccomend it. I believe it would even allow 2.0 to do actions!
I just looked and found it at amazon for $20, new!

Nice job on the editing! Just some tricks to learn to get the edges a little more smooth and they will bee perfect.

Notice I did not give the tips and tricks, because my edges look the same way, hehehehehee

if i ever get the actual camera down pat i'd love to do some creative editing...is elements set up basically the same as the giant $$$$photoshop? i have a video professor tutor for the $$$ one but wonder if it will help with elements as well...layering has me totally stumped even on arcsoft and for some reason i'm not comprehending reading the instructions so figured maybe the video tutor would help(?)

These are cool! I will have to play. My boss is building a personal web site (she breds and sells goats) and she has requested my assistance (we have become friends over the years I have worked for her) - and I want to do some photo editing with some of her goat pics for her home page!
