My window opens tonight and I was wondering if I need to have our passports in order to sign in online? We all have one but I do not have every ones at my house.

You do not need to check in to book activities but you need to check in to get your Port arrival time. You’ll need them to complete that step.

Just checked in Thursday night for upcoming Hawaii cruise and I'm currently waiting for DS's new passport. I just entered a random number and it was fine. Will go back and correct it once his new one comes in mail.

As noted, that information will be required for the PAT page to open, but there's a way around that.

Just say you're using birth certificates/photo ID for those people you don't have their passports. Once you've completed your online checkin, and you've gotten the necessary information, you can go back in and change it.

No you don’t. You have to put something in there but it doesn’t have to be the actual numbers if you don’t have them before your booking window opens. Put it random letters and numbers so that you can proceed to picking a PAT. Go back later and update with the real info.

We’re in the process of renewing my daughters’ passports so we did not have real numbers when online check in opened. The above worked fine.

If you've cruised with Disney before the system will already have your passport info stored.
