Apologies in advance if this question has been asked and answered! :)

Do you know if you need to make Advanced Reservations at the restaurants at US/IOA. We will be there for four days during the week of March 13 and staying at the Royal Pacific. Is there a number to call? Any suggestions? We are going with two kids (8 and 5)

Can't wait!!!!! :cool1:

Do you know where you want to eat? I think that the only place you really need to have reservations is Tchoup Chop, Emerils and Mythos. Most of the places at City Walk will give you priority seating because you are staying on site.

DH and I just returned from a long weekend at Universal. The first night we ate at Margaritaville. There were 3 groups ahead of us in line to put their names in. The wait was an hour and a half. With our priority status they seated us in less then 5 minutes! :thumbsup2

The next night we wanted to eat at the Kitchen over at the Hard Rock. We stopped by in the afternoon and made a reservation for that evening.

This works well for us because when we are on vacation we don't like to have "plans".

By staying on site, your room key will get you "next available seating". If there are a lot of other on site guests there before you, you still may have to wait. We have always been seated very quickly by showing the room key. You will need reservations in advance for Tchoup Chop and Emeril's.

Thanks!!! I went online for Tchoup Chop. :thumbsup2 Didn't know that about the room key. Great news.

I am going Presidents week and the parks close a 8PM..Will Hotel Guest PS still be adequate or would you recommend ressies that week...We will be 4 adults and 4 kids(11-15) so part y of 8.
TIA

steevo--where do you want to eat? I'd say yes for Emeril's and Tchoup Chop. Not sure if you can do advance reservations for City Walk. When the parks close, the restaurants get crowded. That was our experience last weekend, anyway and the parks closed at 7. We lucked out with the priority seating with our room key.

you always want to arrange a PS through the resort concierge or through one of the 3 park dining kiosks before showing up to the restaurant and just showing your room key. the foremost options give you a time slot. otherwise, you're just put ahead in front of standby tables.
