Do you need park admission for a dining reservation?

MH and I are celebrating our anniversary and wanted to go to Italy for dinner. We're going to Akershus (?) for the princess breakfast the day before, so planned on Epcot that day. Will we be stuck in whichever park we choose to go to dinner, or can we be admitted with a reservation?

If the dining is "in" a park you wil need admisson to that park:thumbsup2:

If you have the park hopper option, you can hop from one park to another park.

Otherwise, yes - you'll be stuck with whatever park you choose for the day.

If you don't have park hoppers, perhaps you can arrange your schedule so the day you are at Epcot you can do both the Akershus breakfast and the dinner that night?

Bummer.

The day we're at Epcot is my friend's last day and she wants to spend some adult time there, if you know what I mean :D

How about an anniversary dinner at one of the resorts, that way you can go to any of the parks. Maybe Kona Cafe, or The Wave? If you want a splurge you could go to California Grill or Narcossee.

If you don't have a park hopper, then yes, you have to eat in the same park. Park admission is definitely required to eat at a restaurant inside a park. Of course, you can always eat at a resort near the park you are going to, but you'll have to do Italy on an Epcot day without parkhoppers.
