Do you need advanced dinner reservations in DTD?

Can anyone tell me if you need ADR for the restuarants in Downtown Disney? What about the restaurants in the DTD hotels? If so...how far in advanced?

we made a 180 day ADR for Planet Hollywood- and tried for Capt Jacks- however, found out that is walk up only.

i know that some of the restaurants in DTD and PI are on the Dining Plan so i would suggest ADRs for those.

as far as hotels in the DTD area- i am assuming you are talking about non-disney hotels?? you can probably call the hotel directly- not sure how crowded they get.
