Why do people insist on posting their pics of their 12-month-old's first ride on IASW on the Disneyworld POTD thread???? Isn't that supposed to be a thread with pictures of all THINGS Disney??? I think we should leave out the people. I am going to have enough of a tough time dealing with people at WDW. I like the pics that at least make it LOOK like the park is empty

Disclaimer - I am only talking about on THAT Particular Thread. I LOVE seeing the pics of family in the TR's. Maybe there should be a thread that is all about seeing people's and kids' expressions at WDW. That would be more suitable.

I love the Haunted Mansion. Tomorrowland Transit Authority is great when you just want to sit for a few. There's never a line.

I have read that there is salsa/bachata/merenge at Bongo's.

There used to be jitterbug/swing/ballroom dancing at Atlantic Dance Hall, from what I have read. The ballroom dancers in Orlando loved it (hard to find venues for this type of dance). But now apparently it's all Top 40.

I think that the population in general is moving more toward the mature lounge type of environment. Good music, but not loud. Not ALL dancing, but an opportunity to dance. Like Vegas Ultra-lounges.

Really, the dance clubs are geared mostly toward early 20's people, and I doubt they will spend their evenings on WDW property. So that's my theory about why PI is closing. For whatever it's worth.

Rix in CSR is supposedly modeled after a Vegas lounge. It makes sense, since that is the one big convention resort. I would imagine they need something like that to keep business travelers on property. We might try it. I am just not sure about taking Disney transportation all the way over there only to find out it's dead.

We are doing BD/Fantasmic on the 12th. It is a very EARLY reservation. Why do they do that? If I remember, yours is not that day. None of our ADRs overlap.

You will have to try that french martini at CR. You will be there before we go.
