Do you make your bed everyday?

I was doing the beds this morning and I wondered if anyone else really bothered to make up the beds everyday? Not change the sheets (I only do that on Mondays) but straighten the sheets and pull the comforter up and place decoritive pillows on the top. After I was finished I thought about how no one will even look at it again until we unmake it tonight to sleep. Just wondering? What is normal at your house?

Nope, not really, I just flip the covers up and really only do that so that when I get in bed at night the sheets aren't as cold.

I never make the bed. My DH usually straightens it up a couple hours before bed, but it is never really "made".

We don't make DS make his bed either.

I rarely do. My DH likes it made so he sometimes makes it.

Yes, I always make the bed even though no one is home all day.

I'll never forget when I first got married, I was in a hurry one day and left it. I was so shocked when I came home and found the bed a mess! When I lived at home my Mom would do stuff like that for me. Now I never leave the bed unmade! (I also never leave dishes in the sink for the same reason - hate to come home to a mess)

nope. I hate making the bed almost as much as doing the dishes. I always get tangeled up in the covers.

Every morning, yes I do. When I was at home with the kids I made their beds too...I try to get them to do theirs but know that they don't always do this. Well they do on weekends.

Yes, I make it everyday. The way my bedroom is situated, anyone coming into the house would see it, and it's one of those things that can make a house look really good or really bad on a first glance/impression. It only takes a minute or two, I don't tuck in the sheets though.

OMG Yes of course!! I can't imagine leaving the house without the bed made. I don't think there is anything worse than coming home to an unmade bed or getting into one at night.

i make the beds every day.. all pulled up neat decorative pillows etc. (sheets are changed every sunday). i fig it takes all of 5 min and if nothing else gets done in the day i know at least one thing has. i feel i am starting the day off fresh. and it just makes the room look so much neater.

Oh yes, everyday. I also change my sheets every other day and I wash my comforter every weekend. I know, I'm a freak

I only make it when I'm going to have people over to my house.

Always and the DD's make theirs every day as well. It's part of there routine- they get dressed- make their bed, etc.

I hate coming home to an unmade bed!

I don't make it every day, but I will "fluff" it up before I get into bed at night. I don't like getting into a messy bed.

Yes, DH makes our bed every morning....it's his "job" I know when I travel though the bed goes unmade

Yes, I make my bed every day. It only takes a few minutes to do, and it make my bedroom look clean all day.

I also hate dishes left in the sink. We have a dishwasher, so it is not hard to put them in there.

I am pretty much a neat freak. People can not believe that I can keep my house clean with five kids.
