Do you love your point & shoot camera?

My current point and click got a refreshing bath thanks to my younger DS and now it's fried! So, time to get a new camera and I'm looking for some recommendations from people who love theirs. I currently have a Canon Power Shot SD700. I love how small it is, but often the pics are blury and I'm finding it a little hard to get action shots of my little boys. Thoughts and ideas from anyone about a new camera?

Check out the photography board, they are great over there!

I had a similar problem with my Canon Elph which if why I moved up to a Sony superzoom. I have an older version but there are a couple out there with very high reviews. I have the DSC-H3 (i think). I found the pictures to be better quality by far.

HI there, currently i have the sony H50 and I love it...now, isnt pocketable, but it is fast and takes great pics....just returned from disneyland and got some really amazing pictures....the lcd is huge and bright (very important to me)...it has 15 zoom, and it is amazing the pics you get with zoom like that....good luck in your decision...

I have the Sony Cyber-Shot with the waterproof jacket.
I do not know if they still sell it, I think they would.
With the jacket on you can take pictures in the water!
You should see the looks I get on Kali River Rapids
while I have my camera out snapping shots. I always sit across
from DH and DS and and pray to the theme park gods that they
will be the ones taking the bath so I can get a shot of them.
And the Cyber-shot is very user friendly and good quality photos.

I think I have a Cannon Rebel. I love it. It's so easy my kids use it. I had always gotten Rebels 35mm and loved the different types of pictures I could take. This digital one works the same way. I wish the screen was bigger, but I'm happy.

i have the sony dsc-h20...i love it very much...it takes great pics...not pocketable...i highly recommend it...
