If so, what kind do you have? There is an overwhelming amount of choices out there. I loved my Braun, but they are not selling them anymore. I am not interested in the Keurig, and prefer the auto-drip kind. Thanks for any recommendations!
Love my Keurig because I have so many choices of coffees, teas, and lattes. I had a Tassimo and loved it as well. However, my local stores only sold two types of coffees for it, so we sold it to a friend and got the Keurig. I love that all I have to do its heat it up for like 2 minutes and pull the lever, push the buttton, and one cup of hot coffee is made!
I love mine! It's nothing fancy or anything, just a normal 8-cup GE one I got at Wal-Mart, but it's perfect for me, since I'm the only real coffee drinker in our house.
I have used this one for years now, after a long procession of other brands and types. For me it is the gold standard. I got a gift card once for Sears and used it to buy a second one in case this one ever goes and they stop making it. I like it that much. : )
I don't "love it" however I do like the fact there is no glass carafe to mess with. Now I do think it leaks a bit or is not made well but honestly I am not found something "I love" yet.
We have hard water and I am not sure if I would want to go expensive because of that fact.
I can't help you there. I'm a Keurig devotee for 3 years now--I can't function without it.
But when I was shopping pre-Keurig (it was an Xmas gift!), my requirements for a drip were a thermal not a glass carafe. I was actually leaning more towards a percolator. In all fairness, at the time I was getting over a daily Strarbucks habit--I was being very very picky about how my coffee was going to be made.

I use this every day (DeLonghi Alicia EMK6). They call it an espresso pot but not truly espresso, IMO. Kind of a cross between drip and espresso;quick and easy. I even take it to WDW with me!
I have a little Mr Coffee 4 cup one...I like it really well, but I do have to shut it on and off sometime during my drinking because it has an automatic shutoff after 1 hour. I guess that is a good safety feature, but sometimes it takes me longer than an hour to drink 4 cups and if I forget to turn it off and back on, it gets cold.
