I was just straightening up around the house, dusting my bookshelves and listening to a podcast from last year and my mom called and she goes "Are you still listening to that Disney show?" (she called yesterday when I was listening to the email show) and I said "Well, not the same show, but it's the podcast." And I realized, I listen to the podcasts way more than I listen to music. I don't listen to the radio at home too much anymore, too many commercials, and I almost never watch TV during the day, so when I'm doing stuff around the house I usually put on a podcast like most people might put on a CD or something. I've probably listened to all the podcasts at least twice and some quite a bit more (I have favorite episodes) I love having the crew on in the background when I'm doing stuff. Is it just me or does anyone else do this?

Not anymore, as I have listened to all of them.

The Dis Unplugged was my first ever podcast and I have been listening since right after they started..(not long after the format change to the roundtable).

I will share a story...a couple of weeks ago something happened to my itunes, and apparently I inadvertenty downloaded and installed some old podcasts. I went to listen and as is my habit, go to the oldest episode first (sometime I have a backlog of a few, especially email shows). When it came on some of the news sounded vaguely familiar. I was working so my attention must hvae been diverted for a bit...next thing I heard was "Will" talking about something and I thought to myself "Dang, Will sure sounds like Bawb"....others continued chiming in and then "Will" spoke again..and I am thinking WOW he REALLY sounds like Bawb!!!!! Then Julie called him Bawb so I looked down at my ipod, and the episode was from February.
And of course, it really was Bawb.

And I had to smile.:goodvibes

So after that I thought it might be nice to go back and listen to some of the oldies again:thumbsup2 ...

Sure do! I've downloaded and kept all the past episodes. Whenever I need a pick-me-up, I find an episode that I haven't listened to in awhile.

All the time. I look up what is in each episode and listen for info that pertains to my trips. I would say I listen to a few oldies a week.

I only discovered the podcast when i got my iPhone a few months back, and literally listened to all the old ones back to back for hours each day during my summer break (I'm a teacher so have 6 weeks off!) - now i'm with the rest of you waiting for the shows each week!!

:goodvibes

Add me to the list of people that just discovered the podcast, so I have been going back and finding ones with information that will pertain to our trip next year. I listen at work, at home when I'm cleaning, when I walk, in the car, whenever and wherever. Wednesday never comes fast enough!

I've been listening faithfully for several months now, but I am still catching up on old ones. I have a few other Disney podcasts that I listen to (but we know that the Dis Unplugged is the best! :thumbsup2 ), but when I have nothing left to listen to that is current, I queue up the old Dis podcasts and listen to those to bridge me to the next week's release.

Some of you mentioned that you have old favorites - which episodes are those?

I have all of them on my iPod and home computer. I jump around alot......still haven't listened to all the shows.

I think, much like Mario 64... I'll get them out every few years and for long drives.

I have only been listening since July, so I have been going back and listening to the archives while I am at work on my computer. I love the podcast. I find myself laughing at something they say or do, during the show. After hearing Bawb, I understand why everyone loved him as much as they do and find myself missing his disney insight the more I listen to the archives.

Before my trip to Universal in July, I listened to all the old Universal Show ones-very informative. Although, there was one where Bawb was talking about a future trip with his grandchildren, and that was sad :(.

I started listening regularly in February and have been keeping up with the new episodes each week since then. At one point I started backtracking and listened to the shows in reverse from February to Nov 2007 before realizing that was kind of silly, so then I started from the VERY beginning. I stopped listening to the show for about two months after Bob passed away but this week I finally caught up with the new shows. So now it's back to listening to old shows while waiting for the newest ones.

And there is my DIS Unplugged listening history. You've been a wonderful audience. :)

all the time! I got back to the shows of the time of year I am going too, get more info... :cool1:

When I get sad, I listen to the "best of Bob" again, and it makes me smile.

I've listened to every single episode of the podcast at least once. We have XM radio in the car, which has no commercials, so I usually listen to that when we're out and about. Otherwise (because I can't stand the amount of commercials on FM radio, and AM radio is just BLECHH!) I listen to the podcast when I'm doing something around the house, especially vacuuming. My mom probably thinks I'm laughing (in an evil way) about eliminating dust and pet hair from the carpet...

I only listen to the podcast at work with my headphones on. I am a New York State clerk. I know my job so well that listening to the podcast does NOT interfere with my work at all.

Some days (most days) I just don't want to be at work. I feel this desperate desire to be at WDW !
I almost feel blue about it. So if I have already listened to this week's podcast, or it isn't up yet, I will check the topics of older podcasts
and listen to one that I've heard before. And Then I Feel Better!

:yay:

I dont get good radio reception in my office at work and I recently discovered I could get the podcasts on my computer at work. I minimize the screen and listen while I am catching up on paperwork. I have listened to all the 2008 and am halfway thru 2007. I am addicted
