I think there's been a thread like this before, but I can't find it.
Do you listen to music by artists in different countries? It doesn't matter the genre?

Right now I'm totally in love with Girls Aloud, a girl group from the UK. Pisses me off because I can't find any of their recent songs on the US iTunes. I also love Juanes from Colombia and El Canto Del Loco from Spain. Akcent from (Romania? Bulgaria? Hungary?) somewhere in Eastern Europe make some pretty catchy techno-ish songs.

Yeah, but not on a daily basis.
I love Italian music.

I am from the UK, and I mainly listen to US music. :)

I guess at least one of my bands has to be from the UK and I know one I listen to is definitly Canadian. xDDDD

Well I listen to bands from America and such but other than that no. I just got back from the french alps though and nearly all their music in shops and on the streets is in english, we weren't in majorly touristy parts either.

Most of the artists I listen to are from different countries:
Sopor Aeternus - Germany
Emilie Autumn - America
Blutengel - Austria
Angelspit - Australia
Theatres Des Vampires - Italy
Schwarz Stein/Kaya - Japan
etc.

I've never really thought so much about where they're from or what language they speak as long as the music is beautiful :goodvibes

Yes, I sometimes listen to Briskeby who's from Norway and Wendycode who's from France. Sometimes random Techno artists from Sweden.

I will admit that I find myself liking my parent's music...My mom loves Juanes and I listen to his albums with my her xD I like La Oreja de Van Gogh from Spain, they're pretty cool (: My dad likes those classic 70's guys like Camilo Sesto (Spain), Jose Jose (Mexico), & Julio Iglesias (Spain); I like listening to them too, my dad even chose a Julio Iglesias song for my quince años. Edith Piaf from France is amazing; I like listening to her too :D There's lots of bands from the UK that I listen to, they're bands like the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, etc, bands like that, and then there's Late of the Pier, a new rave/electronica group. & Crystal Castles (new rave) are from Canada, so yeah, that's all I can think of...

I adore traditional German music.
And I also do like French pop music.
Oh, and African tribal music is pretty fab as well.
And Italian music...

Well, most of my favourite bands/singers are from different countries. For example, The Script are from Ireland (:

I like some stuff from here but not much really. Girls Aloud, The Saturdays, Leona Lewis etc. are okay.

Oh, btw Sonya - if you like Girls Aloud you should give The Saturdays a listen (:

I like a few bands from Ireland-based such as Flogging Molly and Droppick Murphys. I also like a ton of bands from the UK.

i listen to A LOT of music from everywhere. this is just a few of my favs.
UK
The Darkness
Kate Nash
Lily Allen
Joss Stone

Spain

Uttara-Kuru

I like a few bands from Ireland-based such as Flogging Molly and Droppick Murphys. I also like a ton of bands from the UK.

Flogging Molly's singer (and a few band members) may be from Ireland, but they're from California as a whole. And DKM is from Boston.

I love music from...

France: Christophe Mae, Emmanuel Moire, Camille, Jenifer, Fatal Bazooka, Yelle, etc.
Japan: Utada Hikaru, Kaori Natori, Core of Soul, etc.
Canada: Finger Eleven, Broken Social Scene, etc.
UK: Arctic Monkeys, The Clash, The Who, Interpol, etc.

I like music from all over. I love traditional Chinese/Japanese/African music. World music is so much fun!

Yes, I listen to music from all ofver the world.
I especially love African music.

Barenaked Ladies and Sum 41 for sure. I've seen BNL in concert three times. Both bands are from Canada. Then there's Coldplay [England] which I listen to occasionally.

And then I use to listen to HIM [Finland], Arctic Monkeys [England], Radiohead [England], and Busted [England]
