they say you have lost enough weight...???
I come from a heavy family/friends.....and was heavy most of my life. I am 38 now and over the last couple years have lost about 55 pounds. Those darn numbers are what I am concerned about on that scale. In my eyes, I want to loose about 15 more pounds.
My family especially is telling me if I loose anymore.....I will "loose my looks"....whatever that means....and also had a DH of a close friend tell me the same thing...to stop now......but it is those darn numbers that really get me!!!!!!
My younger sister just on mothers day at my parents house told me (she has gained quite a bit of weight and is trying hard to loose) that she would never want to be as "skinny" as I am....she said "you are starting to look like something is wrong with you"
I don't know.....I don't at all consider myself "skinny"....never have and probably never will.........
Has anyone had to deal with family members/friends with this.....my DH just won't say anything more cause he knows I won't listen.......but, with my dd's communion a few weeks ago and hearing all the comments.......I don't know....sometimes I think I may be obsessed...or starting to be............
any opinions???
thanks
Lisa

) "you're getting sickly looking - you're too thin etc..." And sometimes its from jealousy or feeling like they won't fit in to your new "thin" life - but sometimes its that people do get too thin and to obsessive with the scale numbers - remember you have been exercising developing lean muscle mass which is heavier than fat.
