Do you find yourself liking songs with your names in them, or somehow resembling you more than others?


I love Outkast to begin with, but "Roses" is my favorite, because of course, the girl in the song is named Caroline. Just like "Sweet Caroline"(but that song is special to my anyway, because my grandpa always sings it to me) and Jessica Andrews, sings this song "Who I Am" and it always reminds me, of well, me!!

Just wondering if I was the only one...and I'm just weird...

Just a word of advice...don't ever visit JellyRolls at the BW....I have a strong suspicion that you will not like the way they sing "Sweet Caroline"

I can honestly say that I've never heard a song with Stephanie in it. Pretty hard to rhyme anything with my name

yep, there's a country song called "Rebecca Lynn" that I love, and that's my name. I first listened to it because I was thinking "hey, that's me, that's kinda cool," but now I love it because it's a very pretty and sweet song.

No songs that I know with my name BUT I named my eldest child "Michelle" because of the Beatles "Michelle My Belle".

Weeell, my name is Sherry and there are two big "Sherry" songs: "Sherry, baby, can you come out tonight" and "Oh, Sherry".They were, of course, written both just for me. HaHa!! Just kidding. I like both of them, but have never felt compelled to find them on cd. There are several more songs that have my name in them, but just in passing. It is cool to hear your name in a song though.

HAHAHA! I remember that, too. I was really embarrassed when that came out because the character was all whiny and angry that he liked DJ and not her. Sheesh
