I wouldn't say I hate to but I wouldn't like to have to get all dressed up on a regular basis. For special occasion, I'll suffer through it for a couple of hours.
I love to get dressed up I own 2 fitted tuxes myself, one black, one white, as well as many evening gowns. My husband has a tux as well. We go to a lot of functions ( just wore my black tux last week at an innaugural event ), and also love cruises, so our evening wear gets used quite a bit
Either velour sweats or, if I were gorgeous & had a bit more dough, would parade around in a full tilt ball gown
During tourist season, I dress up for work, in complete 1820s costuming, so afterwards it is absolutely jeans & flowy blouses--no freakin' corset, caps, woolen stockings, shifts etc!
I don't like having to dress up on a regular basis, but I love having a special occasion to go to where I can wear a fabulous dress, glittery jewelery etc.! I also love any occasion where I can wear my little black halter dress - that thing just flatters me like nothing else I own!
DH and I do a couple times each time we cruise, as a 7-night cruise usually has 2 formal nights. I don't necessarily LOVE it, but don't really HATE it either. DH wears a suit though, not a tux. The last time he wore a tux was for DS's wedding a year ago. He does look good in one though.
I'm usually more comfortable in a really dressy (glittery) pants outfit, rather than a dress. I enjoy having my hair done for special occasions though, and it's always nice to get pictures of us when we're all gussied up.
