Do you like to eat strawberries?

DD eats a lot of strawberries and my mom showed us a unique way to get the leafy part out.

Get a straw (one that's relatively firm) and push it though the strawberry from the bottom up. When it pushes through, it'll take the top core part and all the leaves with it.

Try it! It works!

Thanks for the tip!! I luv strawberrries but haven't had them for 10 days since I've been doing Atkins. Gosh I just remembered how much I miss them!!!

I buy a quart or 2 of strawberries every few days
I usually just pick the leaves off the top and sometimes eat the stem

Mmm...I love strawberries. I always just cut the top off. I like mine with Splenda and whipped cream.
