Do you like the layout of the DVC rooms?

i think it is confusing, too. That "love seat" they are talking about does not exist at BWV. I think it only exists at OKW.

At BWV (and also at BCV, VWL & SSR, AFAIK), the living area has a sleep sofa and an upolstered side chair - if you need another bed in those one bedrooms, you'd have to bring your own.

At OKW, there is apparently a sleep sofa and a love seat. I don't know if they also have an upholstered chair, too. Since I've never been in an OKW unit, I can't be sure. :)

Best wishes -
Good point Carol...my mind tends to go right to the OKW set up :) You are correct only OKW has the couch AND love seat... and also Vero. But the layouts of those 2 resorts are almost identical. There is also a nice chair with an automan (sp?) too in the Living room at OKW & VB ;)

When we were at BCV's in the 1bdrm last Oct. there was just the couch and upholstered chair ....there's just not as much room as they are smaller units.

I would only buy from Disney because of no closing costs. I would not consider bringing an aerobed. This will be a large investment and I would think for such a large investment that a family member should not have to sleep on the floor! If our kids were closer in age and the same sex, a one bedroom would be fine. Looks like we'll have more space than we need, but to get each kid a bed we'll have to get enough points for a 2 bedroom. Thanks for the info so far, and for anything anyone else has to add!

Closing costs are only about $2.00 per point ($350 - $450 minimum). I would consider a resale if I were you. Even with closing costs a resale contract will likely cost less.

If you want the largest villas, then you are looking at OKW. Those contracts will likely cost you less to purchase and less to own than the other resorts.

Good luck.

My DW loves the bathroom layout in the 1 & 2 BR Villas at SSR. If she needs some "quiet time", she simply puts me in the shower and closes all the doors; by the time I figure out how to get through all of them (adding in the time I trap myself in the closet) she's had a nice rest. ;)

I find the doors an interesting solution from an engineering perspective; if you have 1 bathroom that needs access from two different areas, you can't avoid two doors. And it IS nice to be able to have folks go from the kitchen into the bathroom without being able to gawk at the bedroom.
