Do you like the King bed in the 1BR?

King bed for us - NO question!!!!

Not that my opinion will change room layouts

From what we were told at an annual meeting several years ago - DVC can NOT change the existing 'look' from what they sold us (FL timeshare/real estate law?). This is to prevent 'bait and switch'. This came up when someone wanted the balconies screened in due to West Nile.

So, what you want (2 beds in the 'Master' bedroom) would have to be done at a future resort, not at a current DVC resort.

The king bed is one of the reasons we love the one bedroom. It is just like at home. We wouldn't want to see it change.

What others find important in a vacation...others may not. Everyone's different, that's what makes the world go round. No need to be insulting about it! I work, go to school, & spend a lot of time locked in the office in the evenings doing homework. Vacation is the time I get to spend every waking moment with my kids, no cooking, cleaning, or homework for me and that's what I enjoy most. My DH & I have found time to go for romantic getaways & I cherish that time too, but at DW it's all about the kids. That's just me. I don't think anybody is "wrong" because DW is a place to take time to spend time with their SO. That's okay too. Like I said, by the time they are teenagers I'm sure I'll feel the same way. I agree with other posters who said it would be great to have a choice, but I also agree with others that I wouldn't want people overcrowding the rooms & putting too much wear & tear on them. So I guess I'll just stick to my plan of using an air mattress in the master & leaving the living room free.

We are a family of 4 (2 DD's) and love it! We don't have a king bed at home and enjoy being able to have a big family party in the bed on vacation! If we want to stay up and watch a movie we will attached our portable DVD player to the TV in the bedroom or let the kids sleep in the BR until we are ready for bed.
