Hi

Thought we'd try Teppenaki (sp) for the first time this trip.. Leaving tomorrow.

What do you llike there? Are the portions big? DD and I usually split meals in sitdown restaurants cuz neither of us eat big portions.

Any comments on the steaks?

Thanks,

herc

I put off eating there for so long and really enjoyed the experience as well as the food. Portions are not overly large like most of the Disney restaurants. Try going for lunch when the prices are less and the place is less crowded.

I agree with laurens mom, I did lunch also, it was alot less money then dinner, the food was good and if you gte nice people sitting at your table ( We were lucky had 5 people that used to live near me so there was alot of conversation) They had a BD cake for the daughter and the server brought some over and the mom said, that is for you. it is just a nice place, try it, I think you'll like it
:D

We ate lunch there also.:D My family enjoyed it and we will definately eat there again.

The portions weren't overly large. If you're not big eaters AND both of you like stir-fry vegs., salad and rice, there would probably be enough to feed you both. My kids don't care for the vegs., so we needed separate entrees for everyone. BTW the child's entree is about the same size as the adults.

Thanks, we are going to try it this time for sure. Sounds good.
Lover grilled veggies.

Herc.,
Just a suggestion. When you check in go tell the hostess that you really want a chef that is fun and entertaining. We did this and got an entertainer as well as a great cook. We went back a couple of days later and did not make this request and got a real dud. Strangely, we ordered the same food and he just didn't season it the same as the other guy and it didn't taste nearly as good. No guarantees--but it might help.
We loved the "ginger-soy" sauce that they put on everything. We also loved the ginger ice cream. It looked a lot like a very creamy, home made chocolate ice cream.
