Do you like Spam?

Let's find out what people think of that great invention - potted meat in a can! Are you a Spam fan? Can you say, like the guy from Monty Python "I'll have her Spam, I love it" or are you instead more like the "wife" and have to say "I don't like Spam"
Personally, I don't like the stuff. I suppose that if I were starving, and it was the ONLY thing available to eat that I could get it down, but otherwise, no thank you.

Where are the barf smilies??? My mom used to make us eat that. One day as a teen I refused-that stuff made me gag. She sadi eat it or go to bed hungry. I was happy to go to bed empty that night-never eaten it since.

I like it but only very occasionally. DH is constantly buying it for our huge basement pantry. He's sure that if we're snowed in or in the middle of a nuclear blast, we'll be happy to have that Spam. Well, he'll be happy. So will the dog, I guess.

Actually I like it OK. I bake it for about 15 minutes and coat it with a glaze made from brown sugar, mustard and orange juice. I'm good to go with Spam about once ever 6 weeks or so. Truth be told, we're having it for supper tonight with Au Gratin potatoes and green beans.

I cant stomach the stuff personally I put in the same category as the spagettios and vienna sausages. Blech

I actually like it, but noone else in my family does, so I don't buy it. I like it fried for a sandwich with mustard.

I remember when I was about 10 it was just my mom and I. We had no car, no money, and no family, so we had Spam for Thanksgiving dinner. Mom baked it with brown sugar and mustard and it was really good. I was young and didn't think a thing about it. Now looking back it seems pathetic, but we had each other and that Spam.

Yuck!! My Mom used to make it with Kraft mac and cheese. I haven't eaten any since I was a kid. My kids have never eaten it.

My dad still talks about "Hawaiian meatloaf" that my mom made when they were first married. It was Spam, brown sugar, mustard, and pineapple. I think that's the reason for their divorce.

Had to invite my best friend over for dinner too! His wife will not allow SPAM in the house! Had it with a side of Tortellinis in Garlic Alfedo sauce!
