Do you like Norway Film at Epcot?

What do think of the Norway Film

  • I Love It and cant wait for the broadway musical version!

  • It was OK

  • I didn't like it much.

  • I rather watch Gigli 15 times in a row than watch this film again!

  • I never saw it, but I am very fond of smoked fish!

I'll probably be banned from the DIS forever for this but doesn't that really sum up the whole of WDW?

I guess I am the only one that likes it. I won't sit through it every time, but I knew zip about Norway before I ever saw it, and because of the film, it is now on my "places I really want to see" list. Oh, I like the seats, too.

Who remembers when you could not walk through after the ride? That was a loooooooooooong time ago.

To be honest, I kinda like it, although I had to vote "OK" because I'm in no way looking for a Braodway musical.

I like the fact that it's a little out there and artistic. That being said, I've walked through it many times. Sometimes there's just other things you've got to do.

I have to admit I love this one as well. Most of my friends want to skip it, but if given the choice I'll stay. It's a beauitful film of a beautiful contry and I love the little boy in it as well :)

Like Dan, I think we saw it once, but that was it. We have skipped it ever since. We love the rest of the Norway attraction though.

I skip all of the films in Epcot because I've seen them more than enough but this one is my favorite of the bunch. I love the chairs too. :)

I like it alot...so many people underrated it...but if it makes you want to go to Norway, then it's done it's job..and that's exactly what it's done for me!

Well, It does make me want to go to Norway, but only so I can slap the director of this film upside the head and tell him to never, ever make such a film again. Does that count? ;)

We generally walk through. I am glad there are chairs in the theater, though, unlike others....
I voted "It was OK" because I didn't think it was HORRIBLE. I would prefer more sweeping vistas and fjords. I like scenery. Less oil rig footage!
Plus, if we walk through, we get to the incredibly expensive sweaters (that are so out of place in Florida) even faster. This time of year, it's almost painful to see them...

I've seen it quite a few times. I skip now as I feel I have seen that particular film enough. I feel the same way about all of the Epcot films. They were all well done when Epcot opened, but how about bringing those films into the the current century? Please note China has been updated.:D

I didn't know the China film was updated!

I've done the Norway ride about 12 times....only saw the film twice...never again. All the Epcot films are 20 years old-get some news ones already, Disney!!!:p

I don't remember it much, but I don't recall it being awful or anything. I would see it again.

Last time we rode, EVERYONE walked straight through the theater that was waiting for the doors to open... there were about 15 people, I think, standing there waiting. Too funny!

OK, we were at Disney today (Saturday, July 3) and I made sure I visited Norway to see this film as I couldn't really remember a lot of it.

All in all, I would say it's a pretty good film. It's not as "touristy" as some of the others.

I voted that I like it ok. I do see it every time I go, and it still makes me jump out of my skin it's so loud at first!! When the boy touches the Norwegian ship and then when they show the vikings. I know it's coming and it still startles me!
You sure hit that one on the head! I like this film, but it is so loud when it flashes back and forth from the boy to the vikings. It makes it hard to just mello out and enjoy it.
